All those interested in supporting the promotion of Catholic values in psychotherapy are welcome to become members of the CPA. Only clinical and academic members shall have voting rights within the association or be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. Anyone who possesses a graduate degree in a mental health field and is licensed or certified by their state. Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage & Family therapists, & Affiliate therapists.
Anyone who possesses a graduate degree in a mental health field, social sciences, philosophy, or theology.Professors, teachers, supervisors in the mental health fields, those who possess a graduate degree in a mental health field, social sciences, philosophy, or theology.
Anyone enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in the mental health field, social sciences, philosophy, or theology.
Clergy, Religious, Seminarians Members
Clergy members include Catholic Clergy, Religious, and Seminarians interested in supporting the mission of the CPA.
Affiliate members will be persons who do not meet the criteria for the membership classes noted in (1), (2), (3), or (4) but who otherwise meet the general criteria for membership. This might include, but is not limited to: non-Catholics and citizens of other countries.
